By making a booking with Golftripz for the Ballantine’s Team-Am Golf Challenge 11 in Jakarta, from 19-23 September 2022, it is understood that you’ve read the terms & conditions and have accepted them and your booking is subject to the following terms & conditions.
For the purpose of this Agreement, the Ballantine’s Team-Am Golf Challenge 11 will be referred to henceforth as the “event”.
Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully.
CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION
Your registration for the event is only confirmed on receipt of the full payment for the package. After you sign up for the tournament and receive an online invoice with instructions for payment, you are required to make the payment within 3 days. If the payment is not made within the due date specified, Golftripz reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit paid if any.
PAYMENT TERMS
All the payment options are mentioned on the sign up page and any extra charges included in making a payment will also be clearly communicated to you at the time of payment.
All bookings require a 100 % payment to secure the booking.
Any specific payment requirements as specified by the supplier will supersede the general payment terms.
CANCELLATIONS/AMENDMENTS
Cancellations and amendments to confirmed bookings should be communicated officially via email or fax. Amendments to your bookings are subject to availability and could result in additional charges, change in itinerary and so on based on the amendment required. It may not always be possible to fulfill all amendment requests and major changes in itineraries after booking confirmation may incur an additional service charge.
Participants will receive a full refund if they cancel their bookings before July 31st 2022 subject to cancellation charges of USD 100.
Non cancellable from July 31st 2022
Cancellation terms will be subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier of a particular package, promotional offers and so on and will supersede the general cancellation terms and policies.
EVENT PACKAGE
Golftripz, reserves the right to make changes to any component of the event including, but not limited to, the hotels, golf courses and other venues, prior to the event if Golftripz deems fit, in the interest of the said event. Such changes, if any, shall be intimated to participants, via email at the appropriate time. Every attempt shall be made to find hotels, golf courses and other venues of similar standards.
Golftripz also reserves the right to reschedule itineraries and departures, in the interest of the smooth functioning of the event or if unforeseen circumstances beyond our control require us to do so.
FORMAT & RULES OF TOURNAMENT
Please be familiar with the format and rules of the tournament. This information will be available on the website and will also be sent out to all participants prior to the event. The Tournament committee’s decision is final with respect to all aspects of the game.
STANDARD OF SERVICE
Sufficient care is taken to identify and include only suppliers/partners of repute for the event. The standard of service is based on various factors and Golftripz does not represent or guarantee and is not responsible for the standard, quality and availability of the services provided by event suppliers/partners.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES
- Golftripz and their partners and agents, employees, directors, officers, representatives, shareholders, host golf clubs and other suppliers of goods and services accept no liability from any and all claims for damages for death, personal injury or property damage which the golfer, his/her personal representatives, heirs, next-of-kin, assigns and insurers may have, or which may hereafter accrue, as a result of using the services provided.
- Participants shall not hold Golftripz responsible for or liable for any action, claims, demands, losses, damages, cost, charges and expenses which the client may suffer, sustain or incur by means of including but not limited to changes or cancellations of the services.
HANDICAP INDEX CERTIFICATES
Participants are required to submit a valid handicap Index certificate as on 1st September 2019, from your home club duly certified, no later than 5th September 2019. For courses that are not slope rated, 85 % of their submitted Handicap will serve as their Handicap Index
Most golf courses require handicap certificates to allow a golfer to play their course. We strongly advise that you carry your handicap certificates with you at all times especially if you are playing additional rounds of golf pre or post event.
GOLF CLUB RULES
All golf courses reserve the right to reject any golfer or restrict their play. Rain check policy is subject to the discretion/rules of the golf club.
DRESS CODE
Appropriate golf clothing and footwear as required by the golf course and by the Tournament committee should be worn/adhered to at all time either on the course or in the clubhouse.
CODE OF CONDUCT
The individual who has booked with us is solely responsible for any damage or loss caused by him/her or any member of his/her group to the properties such as the hotel, golf course, vehicle etc. You will be required to settle the damage amount directly either to the supplier or to us based on the circumstances. The individual is also solely responsible for their behaviour or code of conduct on the golf course and is required to comply with the golf club/hotel/other supplier’s rules & regulations.
FORCE MAJEURE
Golftripz shall not be considered liable for damages or in default in the organizing of the tournament if such performance is prevented, due to any force majeure such as declared war, hostilities, invasion, act of foreign enemies, rebellion, terrorism, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or civil war, riots, strikes or natural disasters such as earth quakes, hurricane, typhoon, tsunami, volcanic activities , acts of any sovereign authority or acts mandated by any applicable laws, regulation or order (whether valid or invalid) of any governmental body/ ministry/ authority. etc.
FLIGHTS & WEATHER
Golftripz shall not be considered liable or in default in the organizing of the tournament if such performance is prevented by situations that are beyond the control of Golftripz like flight delays or weather, which is disruptive or inconducive to play.
PRIVACY POLICY
Golftripz will collect your personal information during the process of registration and undertake to ensure all reasonable efforts are made to keep your personal details secure and will not supply them to any third party unless it is directly related to the supply of services for the event.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION & IMAGES
Your details will be added to the event database and you will be contacted from time to time via email to convey information on promotions and special offers pertaining to the event or for general Golftripz offers. You can choose to unsubscribe from receiving these promotions, if you wish to do so.
Golftripz may use details such as your name, team name, designation, company name, city and your images, video & audio recordings and any communication sent by you, such as feedback provided by you, in the media and for any marketing purposes pertaining to Golftripz.
INSURANCE
All travellers going abroad should take travel insurance. Please ensure that you apply for the appropriate travel insurance before your travel.
PASSPORTS & VISAS
Golftripz might advise event participants on passport and visa related processes pertaining to international travel. But all participants are obliged to check with the Embassy or Consulate of the destination they are travelling to for the latest information. Golftripz is not responsible for and cannot accept any liability for information provided on the visa application process for the destination in question, any change in rules or if a participant is unable to obtain a visa for the event.
